Thinner Mantel Shelves
Around here, we tend to refer to thinner (3-5 inches thick), more rectangular mantels as "Mantel Shelves" as opposed to Mantel Beams. Some of the pieces that have 2 cut sides run a little less expensive than the ones with original sides. For any of these, we can cut them down in length and even depth, but we can't make 'em any longer. As you may have seen on our other pages, many of the in-stock mantels don't last long, so please plan accordingly.

Flat Top, Log Like Reclaimed Oak Wood Mantel -- SOLD appox 6in x 9in x 71.5in (almost 6ft) -- $500.00 This old beam looks thinner than it is. The curve causes that optical illusion to a degree. The beam has lots of interest – original hand hewn face, a curved tree-like bottom, lots of old work trails, and a flat top. The colors also have a pleasant range. | |
