While white pine is a little soft and will show it's wear, it has a nice look.
White Pine was one of the most common species that was logged
from Minnesota during the turn of the century. When you see
old pictures of logs floating down the Mississippi river, they
were often white pine. Many of the old barns as well as old
downtown buildings were constructed using this wood.
The 5th picture down shows a loose fitting table top which
we milled to have a large tongue and groove. This keeps
the wood in place nicely and adds a decorative element.
